Introducing the C1500, our most compact battery-powered underwater acoustic modem yet.

Built on our latest generation of modem and including a 22.2 V, 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery, the C1500 provides an all-in-one package for system integration and deployment. The C1500 features a compact 300mm x 76mm x 76mm rugged aluminum enclosure depth rated to 2000m, allowing for use in deep underwater environments. 

Being built on our PMM4511 modem board set, it inherits all its signature features:

• High-power transmitter with outputs of up to 175–180 dB re 1 µPa @ 1 m

• Support for modulation schemes with data rates from 80 bps up to 10,240 bps

• Advanced two-way acoustic ranging delivers with <0.3 m accuracy

• Baseband and passband waveform playback and recording during modem use.

• 1.4GHz Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor running Linux for user customization

• Python, MATLAB®, C++, and JSON APIs

• 32GB of internal storage (~20GB usable) expansion via microSD up to 1.5TB+

• A web interface and pShell for easy configuration and operation
